Green Queen by Deborah Lindquist is new eco conscious collection of fashion basics and creative separates. The ‘younger sister’ of Lindquist’s Eco Couture collection, the line focuses on the T-shirt as a canvas for artistic and creative experimentation. The fun and sexy collection of separates are made form a mix of recycled cotton, organic cotton and micromodal blends. The unique collection features hand crocheted T-shirts and dresses from recycled cotton T-shirts, and modal and spandex. The soft and luxurious Green Queen basics are simply styled, designed for layering, lounging and every daywear. The fabrics are sensual and soft against the skin.
Based in LA is known as a sought after environmentally conscious designer, who produces womenswear, accessories, and home décor from a mix of rcycled, sustainable and organic fabrics. Trained at Parsons the New School in New York, Lindquist launched her eponymous collection in 1989, dedicated to one of a kind jackets, vests and bustiers made from vintage florals, tropical barkcloth, jacquard’s and native American blankets. Outfitting the Pussycat Dolls, Lindquist’s collection combines environmental responsibility with a cutting edge aesthetic.
Dubbed the “Green Queen” by the press, Lindquist has dressed a laundry list of celebrity’s, and had her work featured in major fashion journals.
